On the Enslavement of Children

a precious baby is born
a helpless cry
innocent and dependent on love
a life unwritten
a blank slate offered up
to the betterment of humanity

mothers without means
mothers without help
mothers. have a heart

orphans in beds
orphans on streets
orphans in garbage cans
orphans need to eat
strangers overlooking. have a heart.

is there noone that cares
then there is NOTHING
but blind eyes and closed hearts and shushed mouths and selfishness for self only

a child born to live!
a child born to become!
a child is a child even wearing makeup and provocative dress
a man is not a man who takes advantage of the helpless child
a woman is not a woman who allows a child to be used as a pervert's toy

in my country, children are sometimes stolen, used and abused, and killed, then tossed aside like garbage
the horrible acts done in dark places of the mind the terrible place of a heartless physical unthink uncare

look up to a higher purpose
take a child's hand
carry a child and teach a child
place a child in a shelter of love and security
a warm and nutritious supportive blanket of open arms hugging love
